What are Play Boosters?

Play Boosters combine the best of Draft Boosters and Set Boosters in one perfect product. They're ideal for limited-time play (like Booster Draft and Sealed Deck), but also great for collectors who want to open packs full of surprises.

Previously, you could choose between Draft, Set, or Collector Boosters. Collector Boosters remain unchanged and are the go-to source for special foils, unique borders, and exclusive cards. Draft and Set Boosters have been replaced by Play Boosters: specifically designed for Draft and Sealed, but with added excitement thanks to the higher chance of Showcase cards, Rares, and Mythic Rares.

Contents of the Outlaws of Thunder Junction Play Booster Box

A Booster Box contains 36 Play Boosters. Each Play Booster contains 15 Magic: The Gathering cards from Outlaws of Thunder Junction with the following composition:

• 1–5 Rares or Mythic Rares

• 5–8 Commons

• 3–6 Uncommons

• 1 Basic Land

• Always 1 foil card (of random rarity)

• 1 Art card, token or advertising card

Additional details:

• Each booster always contains at least 1 Rare and at least 1 Foil card

• In about 1 in 7 boosters, a Mythic Rare replaces a Rare

• In 1 in 8 boosters you will find a card from The List or a Special Guest

• Two wildcard slots (1 foil, 1 non-foil) with cards of every rarity – from Common to Mythic
