    The next Japanese set called SV1S Scarlet ex / SV1V Violet ex has finally been revealed after a while since the first teaser at the World Championships last summer.

    This is the first set of the Scarlet & Violet generation of TCG and introduces the first set of cards, including the new Paldea region. This is a double set, meaning that Violet ex and Scarlet ex are two separate sets.

    This set introduces the new ex-mechanic. Pokémon ex cards have been confirmed to contain Basic, Stage 1, and Stage 2 Pokémon. These have high HP that "competes that of Pokémon VMAX," and when these cards are knocked out, they also give away two prize cards. Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex, Arcanine ex (Tera Type) have been revealed. These Terastal Pokemon cards appear textured and have powerful effects.
